On of the key places that you will notice the benefit of StartRisk is the New Controls AI tool. This tool will make control recommendations for you to consider based on details about the risk, your organisation and risk framework. It gives you are great head start when adding new risks or that you haven’t come across before or when you’re unsure about how to manage a specific risk.

You can access the New Control AI by clicking the button at the bottom right of the controls section in the risk editor:

Immediately when you click the button StartRisk will start generating some controls suggestions for you to consider. This will include existing controls that are not linked to the risk and new control suggestions that could be implemented.

If you had a specific control in mind, you could also ypdate this into the New Control Idea box at the top of the screen and click generate to have the StartRisk AI convert your idea into a control and make recommendations for the control definition and effectiveness ratings.
